7.1. Implementation of IPC in the human sector
Dear colleagues,
Since the end of 2024, the European Committee on Infection Control (EUCIC) is collaborating with the Statens Serum Institute (SSI, Denmark) on the Work Package 7 in Joint Action Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections 2 (EU-JAMRAI 2) launched in February 2024. The aim of the subtask 7.1.3. is to establish a peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange programme and developing mentorship and observership programme for the three coming years.
As a first step in this collaboration, we are excited to introduce a new initiative with quarterly webinars addressing essential topics in infection prevention and control (IPC). This initiative aims to provide valuable insights in partnership with key groups working in this field.
The first webinar is organized in collaboration with the European study group for nosocomial infection (ESGNI) and Healthcare Infection Society (HIS).
